Students may take part in culinary courses as follows:
Fruit and vegetable carving course
This course is mastered by Bc. Roman Sejval, where the students learn basic procedures for carving and working with knife. In the morning they carve flowers out from carrots and kohlrabi. In the afternoon the students carve out sweet-melons a display their products at school.
Our students take part in carving competitions traditionally with very good results:

Sommelier course
This course is mastered by Ing. Karel Babka, who introduce our students into the secrets of working with wine. The students shall learn wine oenology - e.g. producing, opening, service and professional tasting of the wine. This course is finished by final exam so that the students receive a ceritificate.
Bartending course
This course is mastered by Mr. Miloš Tretr who annually holds two 5-day intesive bartending courses. The students learn how to work at bar, produce spirits, mix and decorate cocktails.
Traditionally, a trip to Prague´s luxury bars is organized by Mr Miloš Tretr.
Cold cuisine course
This course is mastered by Mr. Vladimir Picka who belongs to the elite of Czech gastronomy. He holds a 4-day cold cuisine course. At first students learn how to prepare basic products (canapés and gulps) and then they are allowed to prepare more complicated dishes (e.g. galantine, paté, roll). At the end of the course students will prepare a festive reception, where they can invite parents and friends.
Caramel moulding course
This introductiory one-day-course is limited by total number of ten students, who produce a plastic rose from caramel decorated by a caramel sculptures.
Coffee course
This course is lead by the school teacher Mr. Miloš Bednář, where the students become familiar with how to divide, prepare and serve coffee. They learn how to ground coffee to prepare a tasty espresso or to whisk milk to make a creative milk coffee-figures. Finally the students learn to prepare coffee cocktails. This course is finished by examination and successful students obtain a ceritificate.
Chocolate course
In this course students become familiar with the processing of chocolate. The first part deals with chocolate colouring and ganache producing, then they learn how to prepare home-made pralines and in the end they prepare a school display of their product. Students also obtain a certificate.
